Finnish Hematology Registry and Clinical Biobank

The Finnish Hematology Registry and Clinical Biobank (FHRB) collects samples from Finnish patients with different hematological disorders. The FHRB has already the samples and information of almost one thousand patients, collected primarily for research purposes. The possibility to select high-quality samples from the FHRB, collected around Finland, and the relevant data will speed up research work.

Now it is possible to apply for samples and information from the FHRB for biobank research of hematological disorders. A written request for access to samples and application instructions can be found here

Decisions on the access to samples and information are made by the FHRB Steering Committee, based on an assessment by its Scientific Advisory Board. A written Materials Transfer Agreement (MTA) is made on every transfer of samples.
